First off all I must say thanks to the teacher for this amazing trip... We enjoyed everything!!!
The play was great and funny. I think Appy was the the funiest character. Cleopatra wasn´t what I expected. I thought that she was the most beautiful of the play , but she wasn´t. In spite of this I admired how she could sing all this songs... I liked her lyrics.
I can´t forget mention Beck . He was gorgeus! Mavi and Grachu looked him all the time.
The rest of trip was excelent too...

Students and teachers from San Vicente and San Martin all went to Sta. Fe to see the play "Cleopatra" .

A mum like dad

Nowadays I have often wondered if women should get equal pay for doing the same work as men.

Now I´m conviced that both gender should get the same pay, because we have the same rights.Therefore they will admit female effort; be mother is a unique experiencie and It isn´t so easy. Moreover if women work outside the house is all a challenge for them.

It seems to me that the world has changed last years. There are a lot of advances in different topics and is neccesary that we would be able to accept these changes. However people don´t make criticism about men´s pays due to the dominant gender was male. The history ratifies that, but now we may also see that women can experiment a lot of works. What´s more I think that women are better than men in some works such as administration and work office.For example if my dad was sitting eight hours in a desk, He will be crazy but my mum can tolerate this.

In short I see that women work the same hours as men and I don´t believe that the bussineses won´t be able to understand the women rolls. We have the same rights!

With different points of view we can communicate new ideas so we will improve our relationships.

" HALLOWEEN ! ..AT ACI"

Last October 31st. we celebrated Halloween with the children courses. They participated with their spectacular costumes : witches, monsters ,ghosts, goblins, devils and so on, were some of the spooky... characters .

We all played games, integrated with other courses , practiced English and enjoyed a really Halloween party.

There was a FANTASTIC ending: a special visit : the Addams Family represented by some adult students and teenagers. GREAT!!! AND MANY THANKS TO ALL OF THEM... Have a look at some photos ...

Ricardo Arjona was born in Joconotenango, Guatemala, in January 19th, 1964. He´s a famous singer-songwriter. By the age of nine, he started to play guitar and wrote his firsts songs.

At the age of twenty one, Ricardo released his first album, "Déjame decir que no" in the city of Guatemala. However, he became famous when his second record was recorded, "Jesús: verbo no sustantivo", and millons of copies of this album appeared in the shops.

Something very important which happened his life was that his name appeared in the library where he was studying, and also in a street in Jocotenango.

Ricardo Arjona participated in "Alcanzar una estrella", a series on tv programe. In this programe he had the opportunity to show people listen his songs, "La mujer que no soñé jamás", "El taxista", among others.

In 2006 and 2007, he won two Grammies and one Grammy Latino, for his record "Adentro".

In my opinion is a really good singer-songwriter. Many people like the lyrics of his songs, especially women. His most successful hits are: "La nena", "El problema", "Santo pecado" and "Duele verte".

Olympic Game

The platence actor-songwrite Pablo Martìnez is a young cute boy. At the moment, he's living Ba As.
In the spite of this, at the wekeends he also lives in La Plata whit his parent and two brothers.
He was born on 23 Nobember 1986, in the great place front of see.

When he was a young child, he played volley boll in Vélez. Furthermore, for years ago, Pablo worked in the librery on The Desingn and Arquitect Faculty, a as offices clerk. Besides at the age of 18 he worked a as R.R.P.P in the disco on Belgrano in addiction, he likes cars and friday go on racing car track.
Nowa days, he has the role o "SIMÓN" in "Casi Angeles"; However, he has been acting in several of films, plays, "FREE SUIMMING POOL" or "LET'S DO AN OPERA". That were releasea at the early 2007.

Also, sometimes, his friends call him little clown. Nevertheless,he continues being a fan of the football tean "Newbel"
He loves his car and he`s crazy about writing things about his life,love,friends,etc, on his oun furnitive; such as cupboard or book shelvs. In spite of in being very romantic he is and untidy.

I feel that Pablito is one extraordinable person, singer and very good looking. he's calm,sporty and he enjoys spending time whit his family. well, finally is perfect candidate for single girls.

WELCOME AGAIN TO STUDENTS OF 5th. years, 6th. year, special courses

Hello! I hate to make profiles but I have to do it, because the teacher is angry!!!
My name´s Sofía Turino and I´m seventeen... I live in San Vicente, Santa Fe.
I don´t like any subjectct of the school, I only like Law, Culture and Economics because we discuss reality situations of life... Also P.E. only when we play volleyball or handball.
At the weekends I like to be with my friends and go out... I love going to "Daser Junior" on Saturday, it´s very funny...
I like very very very much animals... but I only have two Dálmatas Dog: "Lola" y "Arón"; and I have a tortoise "Dora", I had had another "Anita" but it had lost, I´m really sad because of that... When I was younger I had fishes, but they´d died. My favourites animal are dolphins and zebras.
In my free time I listen to music (good music), I read or watch Tv; my favourite program is "Duro de Domar", I see it always at 19 when I arrive home, because I go out of the school at that hour.
I think I said enough, I hope you like it teacher.

Students make descriptions of different kinds of animals

The ACI is a comfortable and quite modern building.

It´s situated on the corner of Liniers and Buenos Aires streets and It´s started to work in 1973 in Asociacion Presidente Sarmiento.

Then It moved to family´s houses. Finally the ACI has been situated in this building since 1885.

The walls of the building are made of smooth white stones.In addition on one of the front entrance leads to a big hall which connects to the library.Here, there is a boockcase whit material for teaches and students.Next to It there is a desk where the Director or teachers welcome parents as well as students.Moreover the hall sometimes becomes a workshop, a classroom,a meeting room and a place where students act.On the left of this hall there are two classrooms.In the first one little children learn English playing and singing songs with different teachers.The other room is usually for teenagers and adults.It has got a tv, headphones and a lot of videos and films.Both classrooms are painted yellow and they are crowded with pictures, maps and some boockshelves.At the back there is a computer room where students can practise in different webs and visit the ACI blog.

As we see It, this institute is a small building.However,It has got many facilities.Personally speaking we think the English languaje is necesary for our future...

Hi! my name is Franco. I´m 16 years old and I started inglish in 2004. I was born in Rafaela, Santa Fe, but i have live in San Vicente for my live.

I like playing basketball, rugby, football and my favourite groups of music are trulala and banda xxi, My hobby is playing computer games...

My favourite tv program are Showmach and "por amor a vos" but i don´t like a program the news. I get on well wih my family and friends... of corse!.

Hello everybody! I´d like to introduce myselft. I know that here there are many acquaintance people to me, whom know me, but is possible that you don´t know what I am doing or why I have to learn English.
So, I´m Mauricio Aragno. I´m very young, I´m only 27 years old... I´m pharmacist. I was living for two years in Ushuaia (The city called: “The end of the world”).Nowadays, I´m working in San Vicente in the UOM´s pharmacy, but I´m leaving soon (I hope!) because I´m a member of “Doctor Without Borders” an International Medical Humanitarian Organization and I just have a mission. I´m going to work in Zambia (Africa), for that, I have to learn English. I need to speak very well because will be my only comunication form and my tool of work.

My name is Antonela but my friends call me "macu".I´m sixteen and I was born in Santa Fe Argentina, but now I live here in San Vicente.I have lived in San Vicente for 15 yers. I love it!

My hobbies and interests are reading,swimming and meeting people so I love going out whit Carla, Andre and Lala (my friends).

When I have a free time go to the daddy ´s farmer and I ride the horses and play whit my dogs Rocco and Bronco.I like very much animals.
